Music Perceptions is constantly looking for new, fresh, ways to teach essential musicianship skills in ways that students will enjoy and absorb. Our goal is to produce proven products that aid ourselves and others in teaching and learning. Music Perceptions produces products that help teachers, students, and parents stay organized and informed; games which are fun and educational; and music that helps students understand musical concepts easier.
LeAnn Halvorson, company CEO, belongs to: Music Teachers National Association, Illinois Music Teachers Association, Mid-America Music Association, American College of Musicians, American Orff-Schulwerk Association, and National Piano Foundation. She has taught private and group piano lessons for over 20 years, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Piano Performance, Certificate in Piano Pedagogy, Level One Orff Certification, and Associate of Arts Degree in Commercial Art.
